Have you ever needed an ATM right away, but didn’t want to pay a surcharge at the closest one available? SEFCU members now have surcharge-free access to more than 32,000 ATMs in the nationwide AllpointTM network. In addition to over 500 Allpoint ATMs available in SEFCU's four service areas (Capital Region, Binghamton, Syracuse, and Buffalo), members can also use machines in the Rochester and New York City regions.
Allpoint ATMs are available at retail locations like Target and CVS, as well as gas stations such as Exxon/Mobil, Hess, and Sunoco. You can easily find them by using the Allpoint's ATM locator within our locations page.
SEFCU members are not required to pay a surcharge fee at Allpoint ATMs. If a surcharge screen appears during your Allpoint ATM transaction, enter "Yes" to accept the charge and proceed with your withdrawal. The additional fee will not be deducted from your SEFCU account. Because these ATMs are not owned by SEFCU, a non-SEFCU transaction fee is charged, but no additional surcharge is assessed when members use their SEFCU-issued card. The no-surcharge savings can be as much as $2.50 per transaction.
