Teach your child to save, and have your family help!
Teach your child the importance of saving, and get some help from your family and friends when you open a Smart Sense Share Certificate at SEFCU. Start with as little as $100 and add to the certificate at any time with no penalty!
Smart Sense members will receive a registry kit when they open their Certificate, and parents can give registry cards to family and friends as a gift suggestion for a birthday or graduation. Best of all, it’s secure because your child’s account information is not provided on the cards. Choose certificate terms of 18, 24, or 36 months. SEFCU brings bankgreen to life
SEFCU is always thinking of new ways to go green. With the combined input of employees and members, there is an endless stream of ideas that are being implemented everyday. Check out some of the new things we are already doing!
Now, at select branches, you can drop off old bills, account statements, or paper to be recycled and shredded! We have also purchased a Ford Escape Hybrid for delivery use to conserve resources. In our offices, we now use recycled products whenever possible, and have made recycling a top priority for all employees.
In recognition of SEFCU’s efforts to go green, the credit union was recognized as a recipient of the “Green Business Initiative” award by the chairman of the Broome County Legislature.
The initiatives listed above are just a tiny cross section of what we are doing to go green. Visit bankgreen.com for the most current list of green initiatives, and to make suggestions!
